Hi Guys,

Would like to know what's involved in fitting (if possible) to fit crash bungs to a 1996 Kawasaki GPZ-500?

Hi

Doubt you could to be honest (well, not usefully). Maybe someone on the swinging arm spindle, but that would be a real pain for your feet. Not really any suitable mounting positions.

Craig has some fairly hefty crash bars on his GPZ500.

I indeed do have some crashbars on my bike, I bought them from renntec for £66.

They look well made and mount to the frame in 3 places so they in theory would spread the force of any impact over the area unlike one small are like crash bungs do.
