I have a scooter with no logbook or keys, what can I do?

So I actually have two scooters, one is working and running needs some work on it since its a 10 year old bike but it runs fine. the other is a complete write off non starter, I have no key for this one, and no log book for both of the bikes but keys for the working one. I bought both bikes one from a friend which is the written off one, I obviously didn't buy it written off but got into a crash, he said he sent the slip to get the new log book but it never came through, its been a year since then, I did ask him again on multiple occasions he said he sent it. with the other bike the working one I bought half a year ago, no crashes on it just stopped paying insurance as getting a car soon, the guy also said he sent the documents off but I never got the log book, the guy was a bit dodgey anyway but I don't think he wanted anything to do with the bike anyway. he did have all requirements and documents for the bike, so I know it wasn't stolen atleast haha. I'm moving house a need to get rid of these bikes super fast, I sent DVLA the v62 forms for both bikes, including green slips they got back to me saying they didn't get the greenslips and they need 25 cheque and for me to send the v62 again which really annoyed me, I don't really care about money for the bikes just want to get rid of them and never hear anything about them AGAIN. Bonus points if you torch yourself too, 3 problems fixed with 1 match then.

First off, if you did indeed have the green slips, why didn't you just do the change of ownership online?

actually i'm someone who actually paid for both of these bikes in full and have not received my logbooks, and have chased and chased previous owners for the reasoning to this. So you can go and Middle Finger yourself Very Happy Very Happy

Ermm, yes you can, very easily, and if you have the green slip, the original V5 Doc ref, is the same reference as on the green slip, minus the first character
