There's probably a topic or 2 on ULEZ and the like, but I expect this development, combined with the electric age of logistics, could be something that quickly becomes a blanket regional / national thing?

The last time I was in London I spent hours stuck on what was effectively a gridlocked bus from the end of the mile end rd to victoria coach station . I could have walked faster ( were it not for travel bags) 20mph would be a dream.......

Totally agree.

I have no intention of going into London on a bike or in a car at any point for the rest of my life and I feel nothing but joyous satisfaction with that statement.

Fcuk London.

I so hoped that the thread title ‘lower limits’ referee to making it illegal to potter round at 20mph on a straight dry road in a NSL.
Disappointed again!

Wholeheartedly agree - Fuck London.

If I need to go through it, it's on a train, and I avoid both going into the shithole and getting on a train as much as humanly possible.
