Lets go to the Pontcysyllte canal aqueduct instead which is the highest canal aqueduct in the world at 125 feet. Mr. Green

Good fun, too. I have walked over it, but not gone by boat. The railings don't conform to modern safety standards either, so there are notices advising people to look after their children (!).

Yes, know them well. They do my stretch of the Grand Union and I get my fuel and gas from them when I can just to help keep them going.

It costs a little bit more than from marinas but they are brilliant as in they will come and fill your boat up or drop off stuff even when you aren't there.

The good thing is because it is a world heritage site H&S cannot force any changes. They wanted to put completely modern higher railings on the path side and railings on the waterside incase anyone jumped off their boat or fell off paddleboarding across. Rolling Eyes

There is/was a brothel boat in London. It is, if I remember right called Guilty Pleasures or something similar. usually runs up and down the Thames.
