Got a new jacket in the post and it had one of these in the box Laughing Not seen before but seems a good idea. www.lafalappa.it

Now what I want is a waterproof coating for the neck curtain, mine always gets soaked and smelly after rain!

tl;dr a helmet liner. The cranial equivalent of white cotton gloves.

Sounds like a nice idea, probably very annoying in practice.

As an aside, a skullcap style lafalapa might be fine for Italian climes but a proper balaclava is more suited to the UK's shite weather.

Used one for years (bald head) primarily to absorb sweat and have something thats easy to wash. Don't have to wash helmet inserts as often.

During the winter, use a thicker one for warmth.

It adds 1 second to the putting gear on phase. I look even more of a tit doing it, but don't care.
