A lot of them are experts in their field though. The problem is, we have a new disease, which seems to behave fundamentally differently to others, sometimes. And it's that sometimes that is throwing everyone. So today we've had the death of an apparently healthy 21yo, and it's not clear whether or not she had any other health issues. I've heard of other cases in apparently fit, healthy, younger individuals who got it bad.

I've now heard that blood type might affect your vulnerability (speculative). Exposure time can affect how badly you get it. Everyone, including the experts are still floundering around trying to get a handle on it. Apart from the obvious trolls and merchants of doom, I think they're all genuinely trying their best, but everyone can be wrong. Einstein got stuff wrong ffs.
