Just a few I stumbled across (whilst incredibly bored and not the least bit tired ) :

Biker Boyz was the first Hollywood film to feature the Hayabusa.

Steve McQueen personally attempted the 60ft jump across the border fence in The Great Escape, but crashed. The jump was successfully performed by Bud Ekins.

The bike ridden by Will Smith in I, Robot is a 2004 MV Agusta F4-SPR, at 750cc with 147BHP. It is one of only 300 produced worldwide.

In The Wild One Marlon Brando and most of the Black Rebels ride Triumphs and other British motorcycles, while Lee Marvin and his boys ride Harley-Davidsons.

In Torque, The "Jet Turbine" Y2K bike that Cary Ford rides to catch Henry really exists and is powered by a refurbished helicopter jet turbine that has reached its "service hours" limit (and therefore must be replaced by order of the FAA); however, such turbines are okay to be used in boats, cars and bikes.

In Terminator 2 the T800's bike jump into the storm drain was performed by a stuntman Peter Kent. The motorbike was supported by 1-inch cables, so that when they hit the ground, the bike and rider only weighted 180 pounds. The cables were later digitally erased.

Whilst making Easy Rider Peter Fonda was an experienced motorcycle rider and the bike he rides in the movie is seriously stretched and raked and has tall "apehanger" style handlebars. Dennis Hopper was not as experienced a rider, therefore his bike is less radically chopped.

George Miller, director of Mad Max, paid a truck driver $50 to run over the bike at the final scene. However, the truck driver didn't want to damage his rig; thus the crew had to install a shield painted to look like the front of the rig.

In Magnum Force the motorcycles used by the "death squad" cops through most of the movie are Moto Guzzi police bikes. However, British motorcycles (probably Triumphs) were used during the chase scene at the end. These would have been favoured by the stunt riders as they are lighter and easier to handle than the Moto Guzzis.

cool but you forgot about the two Ducati 916's in the movie FLED that was a cool chase scene between the bmw M3 and the bikes and mission immpossible 2 where tom cruise abuses a triumph t955 speed triple that was another awesome scene

Some good trivia there from great flicks.

Most of the time bike scenes are painful to watch, the bikes are always mega slow! ie Martix 2 where the police cars are all over the arse of the 996, yeah right! Great to watch (for non bike people) but woefully inaccurate.

Or John Conner's little 50 in T2 that has an endless supply of gears; grates like that bastard frog thing!

There's also, in the depths of my mind, "Running Cool" i think.. crap biker gang undercover type film...
