Ignition fuse blow

Hi having problem with mates bike a 2002 Suzuki gsx600f. He was out riding when it lost all power. The ignition fuse had blown replaced the fuse.but when run switch is activated it blows the fuse. Have checked clutch switch.side stand switch all ok.disconnected CDI. When reconnected the small 4 pin connector the fuse blew again. Have ordered Haynes manual but awaiting arrival may take ages due to lockdown. Has a anyone had similar problem.

Well, stating the obvious, but there's a serious short somewhere.

Start looking at the obvious first, worn wires, chaffing on frame or bracket parts.
