English and proud: what about St Edmund , wasn’t he the patron saint of England before St George?

Adding to it that St George was from today's Turkey, some lovely Ramazan pidesi would be in order!

I'm sorry, they were doing so well but then served it with cucumber slices.

Optional. I have a cucumber, but that's for other recipes. Those turkey burgers are OK with ordinary vegetables, I would not put them in rolls with cucuccumbers either/.

St Patricks Day is normally all over the media, but somehow in England, we're not allowed to show any national pride. What a sad state of affairs in this country now.

Cue, lefties telling us how St George was an immigrant, blah blah blah.

You really have no idea when to back off do you? You know you're about to get vilified / laughed at for this post yet you can't help yourself. It's like you can't stop yourself posting racist drivel despite the fact you know that it doesn't really wash here. Do you really think that one day someone on this forum will have a lightbulb moment and think "That Donk guy actually has a point - i'm going to become a horrible right wing racist gammon like he is" or is it more likely the vast majority of the forum will continue to point and laugh at the backwards idiot who wastes his time shouting into the void?

The real racist here is you. You support pride for one racial or national group, but not for another which by definition makes you both a racist and a xenophobe. You xenophobic racist.

That Donk guy actually has a point

Forced is going to become a horrible right wing racist gammon

By crikey, my faithful leg-humper has given me a "Spam" rating for posting a recipe! It did not even mention spam, but turkey!

Some people! Perhaps there is something the matter.

Why has this thread got such a dismal and unwarrantable title?

While I live in England, I'm Scottish so I won't be celebrating being English today.

I'm only here to steal your women and your jobs anyway, as it traditional in my country.

Sleeping Sleeping Sleeping Sleeping

Haven't you got a nation to save, make sure we have food on our tables, and the medical supplies are getting through?

So, do you wear a cape & a mask, or, is it more the straightforward gimp suit ..

Oh, yeah, and, Happy Ramadan...

I don't believ in a god, and, hence I don't believe in Saints, so, the day is irrelevant to me, as is St David's day, St Patrick's day etc .....

Oh, can't say that generally I'm ashamed to be english at all, well, that is until I realsie as a nation we inflicted you on the rest of society !! Laughing Laughing Laughing

Who is not allowing you to be proud?

If you had posted a "Happy St Georges Day" thread rather than a deliberately provocative anti-anythingnotwhite day thread, maybe you would have a better response?

St. Patrick was English, enslaved by the Irish.

I wouldn't have remembered it was St. George's day today, until you pointed it out, which is what the MSM media want.

Other countries generally don't like the English. Something to do with us invading them and occupying their lands. Pointing this out for a friend who has white colonial guilt Pale

It occurred to me the other day that the world map could quite rightly have been devised upside down, had dominant civilization risen in the Southern Hemisphere. I guess this would have been unlikely though, since something like 80% of land mass is in the Northern Hemisphere.
