Do any of you have a wiring diagram from ybr 250. I change the meter to another and I need a diagram. I miss connecting a speedometer and a tachometer. |

No intro.
No 'Ps and Qs'.
I think the chances are slim. ____________________ Now: A100, SRX250, XJ598, FZ750, SL1000

There you go that wasn’t so bad was it ?
What you need is a wiring diagram I think?
What year was your bike made?
I personally can’t help you because I know nothing about those bikes.
However if you put up as much information about the bike and say please, someone may come along with some information.
You use the internet or you wouldn’t be here.
Have you not tried typing into Google ‘YBR wiring diagram ‘ ? ____________________ I am the sum total of my own existence, what went before makes me who I am now! |

I need information about what color the cable is responsible for in the speedometer. My ybr is from 2009. On injection, Uncle Google unfortunately finds nothing. I think only service diagrams save me.
I have connected:
direction
neutral
check engine
fuel gauge
clock lighting
I just lack the speed and the tachometer .. and I have 4 cables left |

Not sure if this helps, I found some web page about YBR250 meter in Japan.
https://digi-goods.blogspot.com/2015/07/yamaha-ybr250.html
It's written in Japanese. so I translate some into English.
----
He is saying he had meter trouble on his YBR250 : trip and clock reset when main key turned off (And his trouble was due to fuse)(His YBR250 is 2012 injection)
And he searched for circuit diagram of YBR250 and found it.(link in his page is dead now)
(please watch pics on his web page)
He says No.44 (White) would be meter panel.
And the left one should be the connecter.
There's no description about LCD panel and 6 cables come to the speedo.
Out of the cables, it's only "RB" which seems to be "always on".
And it reaches to No.10 fuse.
No.10 is Fusible backup.(back up of fuse)
He opened fuse box under the seat.
Fourth one is the back up fuse. And he removed it and exchanged with spare fuse.
Adjust clock, turn main key off and wait for 2 minutes.
Turn main key on after 2 minutes. And this time clock is not reset. (it was ok) ____________________ own:2020 Serow 250

Good info!
A search for "YBR_250_MANUAL_DE_SERVICIO.pdf" turns up a number of service manuals in Spanish, which are at least accessible.
