hi, I've been working on my personal bike that I use for work as I'm a delivery driver and need it for work, it's a ybr 125 2008 fuel injection but I'm having a problem with it.
I've recently bought a lextek yp4 exhaust which is said to be made for my model of bike but after installing it and going for my first ride with the new exhaust the bike will not go past 5000 rpm and maxed out at about 35 mph could anyone shed some light on what the problem could be, much appreciated.

Usually if you change the exhaust you need to rejet or remap it.

Either contact the exhaust manufacturer and ask them the recommended setting, pay to stick it on a dyno or pit the original exhaust back on.

And then you go down the rabbit hole of also looking at your air intake...

Is it this one?

https://www.lextekproducts.com/EXHKIT247.php

There is another one:

Note the "important information" and "compatibility" details.

No idea whether this could be the issue, though; is the "Euro" emissions rating right?

Hi thanks for all the replies, I've took all into account and I've tried changing the air intake and it's improved by a small margin, so will now revs to about 6000 rpm so I'm thinking that it's the fuel that needs adjusting just wondering how I'd do that on a fuel injected bike thanks.

How have you "tried changing the air intake"?

I would be inclined to talk to whoever you got the exhast from, as someone said before, they should know whether modifications are needed.

As the stock EFI ybr has an egr takeoff at the downpipe silencer junction
and this new zorst doesn't seem to have that
What have you done to the egr stuff?
If its been left flapping in the breeze i wonder if it it might be sucking too much air in?
