The first word is possibly "Kirschenhofer", but what SR means is even less clear.

Well the "K" is definitely for "Kirschenhofer" - the family name of the business owners. No idea on the "SR" though.

"Definitely"? KSR Group was previously Kirschenhofer GmbH so it seems highly likely but definite requires a high burden of proof.

Not all letter combinations stand for something, although in this case I would wager that it stands for some German phrase or other, as many Germanic manufacturing brands do (BMW, KTM, MAN, ZF, MTU etc).
