Hi all, new to the group, desperately indeed for some help.

The above moped has got new fuel, oil spark plug. It did start intermittently got told may have a wiring fault.

Remage all earths replaced main relaytraved wiring and remade all connections, still nothing.

Transmission case has a crack near kick gear so cannot kick it over.

Battery fully charged 12.5v new relay has feed to it but nothing all switched have me ohmed out all have continuity bit nothing to starter switch.

Bridged starter out across battery and it turns over but nothing

All earths remade but still nothing thinking may be cdi or rectifier

Would ask your thoughts

It won't be the rectifier as this is fopr charghing which doesn't start until the engine is running.

As you need to bridge the solenoid I'd be looking at the ignition switch.

Ho

Sorry pm by mistake, like I said have battery voltage up to switch then when brake lever pulled it goes for no reason.

Should I be looking at ignition switch or after. Just seems strange no horn or lights work with ignition on, so do you think its losing its feed through the switch h

The brake switch shouldnt result in no voltage at the battery but if you bridge the solenoid 8t at least turns the engine over so I doubt it's the battery. The startHer pills much more current than the brake.

Have you checked fuses? If the brake is shorting out the system it may have blown the main fuse.

If nompower is getting to anything then I'd suspect the ignition because it all goes there, assuming the fuse is fine.
