Hi,

I am new to the forum and also new to bikes.

Im looking for a 125cc bike that is good for green laning and occasional road use.

I am 5foot 6 so i will need a bike with a low/medium seat height.

What would you reccomend?

Thank you

What about a late model Suzuki DR125, or a Honda XL125, or a derestriced Yamaha DT125.

An idea of budget and more exact use would be good. There is greenlaning and there is greenlaning. Are you looking to be going from A to B on byways or are you looking to be hooning about getting big air?

I usually give slightly oddball suggestions.

One that caught my eye recently which looked pretty capable but not breaking the bank is the AJP PR3 enduro.

Also worth a look is the SWM RS125.

Both are offroad specific bikes which can be ridden on the road. I have no experience of either, I was just impressed that there are some small manufacturers making this kind of thing.

The seat height is not really relevant as long as you can get a toe down. The aim is to be riding feet up almost all the time when offroad anyway. Adequate ground clearance is more important.

Budget would be between 1 and 2 grand.

I would really be looking to get big air or anything like that
