I bought one of these mains pumps for the garage. The pump itself is pretty good, but the cable and air line are short, the connector and case is cheap, and the gauge is next to useless.

I end up just using my 30 year old £10 Halfords foot pump and pencil gauge. Battered, but they work. ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. Don't take it personally.

I have a proper compressor with a proper tyre inflator fitting.
I use a bicycle track pump with an integral pressure gauge to do my motorbike tyres though. By the time I've got the compressor turned on, charged up and the fitting attached, the job would have been done.
I only use the compressor for fitting tyres. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
