Hi,

I pulled my laptop apart a year ago to sort out a few maintenance tasks and while putting it back together the little metal fixings that the screws/bolts fix into managed to fall out. They sit in the holes that the screw connects to but I have no idea what their called. I've looked up "Laptop housing fixings" but it just comes up with screws.

Any idea what they're called? Laptop is an Asus N55SF

Brass inserts? Um, I don't think they're meant to just fall out! Usually that happens when the plastic gets old and splits. Might need to do some rebuilding work with epoxy.
