If only he stopped the first time, he would have got away with a ticket.

The regrets going to be strong with this one.

Yeh, read the article.
He tried to get away and didnít.
Cops caught him, and now he pays the price.

Doing 183mph ainít the problem, itís doing it when the cops are chasing you Rolling Eyes

He'll get a lot worse sentence than someone waving a gun around or looting during those riots they are having.

I have nothing against people being done for whatever when they break the law. I have a lot of anger when the sentence is done because what if... ie. What if he had hit a granny. Well he didn't and people who actually go hit a Granny to rob them get far more lenient sentences.

Speeding is a 'what if' crime and it shouldn't be. Blokey should be done for breaking the speed limit, a large fine at max. If he had caused an accident and people were injured or killed add manslaughter or ABH or whatever to the crime.

Oh dear.

"Jack was booked in Carter County on a charge of endangering others while attempting to elude a police officer, which is a felony punishable by between one and five years in jail and/or a fine of $1,000 to $5,000. He was freed on a $2,000 surety bond.

The Air Force then asked to take over the case against Workman, and Oklahoma district attorney Craig Ladd on May 7 dropped the stateís charges against him"

It's especially infuriating when Constable McShouty, who seemed a really well adjusted chap didn't he, does exactly the same thing but in a vehicle that has potentially nearly 10x the weight and certainly isn't as able to fit through gaps with the relative safety a motorcycle has, and then throws his dollies out at the biker for nearly killing people. Well sunshine, if you'd have just let them ride by at 80 hurting no-one, then the situation wouldn't have escalated such, would it.

They must have had a chopper? No way American Police cruiser catches up to and keeps up with a bike at 183.

I've done that speed on the M4 Laughing

Ooooft military jail now too?

But yeah, even 1 year in jail seems a bit excessive let alone up to 5...

Also looks like old mate did not have the balls to commit to running fully. At the end hes just kinda obeying traffic at the exit ramp... looks like a lot of room to nip inside the lane shoulders and out run the car.

If he had just committed armed robbery then i understand but its U S of A so you know what meh.........

the bikers made 2 errors, speeding off and then actually stopping

'You make me do this out here, in the middle of nowhere?'

Sorry mr McShouty B A ttitude, I interrupted your 8 hrs of drinking coffee (bad coffee) and eating doughnuts.

Does anyone else think that that cruiser was doing nowhere near 183mph? or are American miles about half the length of imperial ones?

Had to laugh when I saw the line about being chased by 'the Jack'...
... reminded me of the AC/DC song. lol

1. That car wasn't doing anywhere near 183mph.

2. That's Oklahoma. There's literally fuck all there apart from straight roads. Honestly. I did about 300 miles without turning through Oklahoma. So I don't really blame the guy. Laughing

Armed American police is not news.
Doing 3x the speed limit was never going to make you popular.

No sympathy whatsoever.

Should be commended for calling the ground 'the ground' and not the English word for the ground, 'the floor' (fuckingdumbfukingbastirts 🙄)

I don't.
Not unless he got violent, resisted arrest, tried to grab the police taser/weapon, etc. etc.
