Having bought a new bike a year ago, despite intending to keep both, the Bandit has been sitting unused since.
Up until that point it was being used daily, and was very reliable.

I have had this bike from 12k miles (6.5 years) and used it almost daily for commuting, and for some trips around the South West.
It has seen snow, rain, thunder, lightning, and occasional sunshine!

As a commuter, it has high miles (almost 65k on the clock), and hasn't been polished and pampered.
However it has had new tyres, oil, chains, sprockets etc as required. (Seemingly non-stop)
In fact within the past 4k miles its had:

Scottoiler V-System (£100)
New front and rear tyres (£240 worth of Dunlop Roadsmart 3) - 2k miles ago
New chain and sprockets (£135 worth of Renthal, JT, and RK Chain)
K&N Air Filer cleaned and re-oiled

I've done oil changes every 4-5k miles, with Silkolene Comp4 Oil and K&N oil filters.
It is due another oil change, and it will come with a brand new K&N filter ready.

Good Points
- Scottoiler V-System fitted
- Oxford heated grips fitted (pretty much brand new)
- Basically new chain, sprockets & tyres
- Givi Top box included
- Haynes manual included
- K&N Air filter fitted
- Free box of random bits and pieces!

Bad Points
- MOT is expired (if you look at the history, it has only ever failed on a blown bulb and headlight aim)
- Front brakes need bleeding before riding - Lever is spongy
- Some oil misting on LHS of engine, has always been present. Never had to top up oil between changes.
- Surface rust, age related marks, some marks and scratches
- Running a bit rough, might be just because its been stood for a year.

Unfortunately no test rides (Front brake / No MOT / Not insured), but can be seen running, and I can demonstrate riding it around the little parking area.
