Ask him if he's had a flux capacitor fitted yet, many people add those as a mod to that particular model of bike. They kick in at around 88 mph if I remember correctly.

Ask if he's re-routed the breather pipes to prevent it sucking up water if he stalls it in deep water.

I recently had a Flux Capacitor fitted to my NSR125. It makes so much difference. I have also downgeared it so that it hits 11,000 rpm at 89mph, so I get peak power all the way up to the point where the capacitor kicks in and gives me that flaming whooosh! Thumbs Up

The best thing you can do is just ask him if you can ride his bike, to see if you like it, and if you think its the sort of machine you want to get yourself? Think the YZ250F is fairly tall, but try it and see if you can manage it ok? The 250F is a brilliant, but expensive first time MX bike, and i bet if you have a go on one you'd love it! Way easier to ride agressively for alot of peeps than a 125 2stroke, and they sound quite cool too!
