A rather splendid early Tag 1000 series, boxed with all cards and original strap, just missing a few links to fit my fat arm. Ordered a lovely leather strap to replace the hideous nato one fitted.

Got my eye on an Aquaracer to add to the collection.

Two sets of different bulbs to try and reach a reasonable increase in light projected by the rubbish headlight on the MK1 Fazer 600 box-eye. Meanwhile understanding that the limit is within itself in the headlight unit and that there will be a limit in what is achievable within its design hence upgraded bulbs and not LED's (possibly illegal) or some rather expansive upgrade etc etc.

Different people prefer one over the other, and each have reviews of a short life span, but both combined were a reasonable price and one worth paying if they work as I hope they will.

Give both a try and some point, see which one I like and at least I've got a spare set to hand.

https://i.postimg.cc/Pxfvh3wQ/h42.jpghttps://i.postimg.cc/FRPdKyb5/h4.jpg

Spread on current (what is most likley bog-standard very old bulbs -- based on history of bike etc etc) bulbs are woeful. Will see what these offer and perhaps pay local shop to adjust headlight aim (maybe loosing a bit of high beam range if I decide to keep the dual headlight mod) to ensure correctly set up.

Given what the shop let slip through their fingers that sold me this bike I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't adjusted correctly, but me adjusting rear preload may have had an effect (?).

In either case they either of these can't be any worse than what is currently fitted.

The nightbreakers made a considerable difference to my Street lights.
Brighter and whiter than the originals.

This year's project. It looks better in the photos than in real life. It's very rough, as it's 43/44 years old. HOWEVER, the engine basically works (just had it running, and it makes no funny noises), so I think it's worth stripping and rebuilding. Most of this bike is original, but it won't be going back to original, as corrosion is its main problem.

A 2017 Yeti to replace our money pit Alhambra. Now I'm pondering whether to replace my nearly 20 year old Golf, or drive it until it goes bang, which will probably be another 20 years but I'm kinda bored with it.

Halfords basic track pump. Surprisingly good tool. Good enough to top-up m/bike tyres as well as push-bikes and water rockets..

I've got the same one. Really like it - perfect for hobbyist-level stuff. I opened it up from the top (the 4 screws) and found there was hardly any grease on the mechanism, so I put some more on. It's nicer to use now.

I neither want nor need to know the excuses you've come up with for whatever sordid activities you and Mrs Nobby get up to with gravy boats on Thursdays. Silence
