I sure hope we don't though.

Post up a topic on there and check 20 seconds later. You'll either:

- Struggle to find it as it's sunk waaaay down the bottom

or

- Have 35 replies to your topic and only one of them is relevant to the topic subject.

Still a good forum though!! Laughing

I like the cliched atmosphere of BCF and i don't think that if i posted the same messages on Visordown or the like, i'd have met half the people i know now/ride with, despite the fact that most of us probably DO post on other forums too. But here, there's the feeling that everyone knows each other, ya know what i'm saying. Anyway, hats off the Korn who made BCF uber unique!

i'm on 3 of those forums,

here, visor and hartside and enjoy all the crack from each.

I do tend to use hartside more as it's more local to me and do meet up with most of the users on there for rideouts.

but most important its all about the 2 wheels Thumbs Up

Tecnically there are 6,979 registered members, the 3771 must be regular posters.

If you look the membership has been on the increase with some 373 members joing last month!

Member count doesnt matter for crap. I used to mod a forum with 25,000+ users and it was only a little more busy than this place. The simple reason being that to browse the forum you had to sign up. i'd say about half the people who signed up read one or 2 posts, decided that the forum didnt contain the info they were looking for and left.

This place ont he other hand is growing at a large rate. It still dies down somewhat when the weather is shit, but is growing overall. Thumbs Up

Definatly a promising start to the year!

not been on here long, but i love the sense of a close knit community. I dont ever really like the feeling of being just a face lost in the crowd when in large forums.
Nice to know you guys Smile

VD can be a very entertaining read, but there are alot of people who make alot of w@nker posts seemingly just for the sake of winding each other up and to take things off-topic. I think without the karma system here, this place would turn out the same.

Not a member of visor down and don't intend to be because I'm a member of too many bloody forums. But BCF is great and is easily my most used forum. Everyone seems to get along really well and newbies are always made to feel very welcome, as they are. Never really posted here since I joined, but since last month I must have been averaging a lot more posts a month, because the place seems to be livening up and getting much more interesting.
