 |
|
Hi
One of our accounts people is looking for a gaming laptop for her son and has asked my opinion on this:
Clicky
It looks ok to me but I'm not a gamer so...
I'd be grateful if anyone could say it's ok or not and if you'd recommend anything else for similar money.
Thanks

Any reason they 'need' a laptop as there really is no benefit when it comes to gaming, also depends on the games too...
In short, I wouldn't recommend a laptop for gaming, ever, but that is usable for the pony stuff like Fortnite etc, but wouldn't touch it if I wanted to actually achieve the 144hz the screen supports.
For 1k, could probably build a real nice modern box.
Just specced an averagely decent rig that has scope for decent gaming, for £1165. |
Hi Paddy
He does have a gaming pc she got him a year or so ago.
He wants a laptop for portability I guess - probably to take round to his mates, ____________________ Current bikes: Honda ST1100 Pan European. Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel |

Personally I feel it would be a waste, gaming on that means he'd need a mouse too, and a desk, be better just to drag his PC over
I don't personally like them, that laptop is OK, but it depends on the games really. It is a lot of money for not a lot of graphics. |

He'll end up with one anyway - just trying to make sure they get the best for the cash - even if not the best thing to spend it on. |
