The thing is, that's how insurance works.

If you are a high risk (and two bikes.stolen in a year makes you high risk) you get a premium quoted accordingly.

Did you try fully comp instead of TPFT? They often come in cheaper...

But as mentioned, if you’ve had two bikes stolen on the last year (or even in the last 10) you’re going to be seen as a risk and judged accordingly (hence the massive gap between third party and fire and theft).

Having had the first one nicked did you improve the security for the second one?

Being brutal here but put yourself in the insurance company’s shoes - would YOU want to insure someone who’s had TWO bikes nicked in quick succession?

Shocked

Assuming you've tried getting quotes from various price comparison websites, it sounds like you'll be going TPO. You could try playing around with different annual mileages and the excess to see if you can get the price down for TPFT or fully comp.

OP is either really young, lives in a shithole, or both.

I'm in an urban area of N.Wales, and the cost to insure the Viffer and the 125 are far lower than his original £320 before having bikes nicked. That's with a theft claim and mods declared, but no security declared.
