hi,
was wondering if anyone could possibly give me advise on what to do next.
( honda dylan 2004 125cc )
my brake lights / back light isnt working right.
when pressing the brake the back light only slighty changes in brightness, very hard to see.
ive tested the brake switch for continuity and the swith seems fine.

can anyone recomend any tests for me to try and solve this problems please.

thanks again, im a noobie Sad

Have you checked the condition of the bulb & holder, it sounds like a twin filament bulb with offset pins and can only fit one way.

A crude test but run a wire from the battery earth and touch the other end on the casing of the bulb and then try the light, it sounds like an earthing fault to me....

Bad grounding on a 16 year old bike/scoot sounds quite plausible to me
and an issue I'd certainly check.
