Most futuristic helmet?

I've got a few helmets but they're all quite conventional. I'm in the mood for something more futuristic to go with watching the new series of The Expanse so, what's the most futuristic on the market at the moment?

The enduro style ones look pretty futuristic, can be a bit noisy on a road bike at higher speeds though.

Is it wise to have these things which have angles and sticky out bits, rather than "round" ones? Surely they increase the possibility of catching on some surface in a crash, and therefore the probability of rotation?

I do have one with a peak it would just snap off, doesn't catch the wind much at legal speeds either.

I have an enduro style helmet and that icon is a mad price

The peak stops an open face trying to lift off at anything over 65mph.

Mind you, isn't it all about prefectly round helmets these days to stop neck torquing?

Anyway, Roof lids are fairly funky, especially if you get a mirror visor.

Years ago I looked for one of these, but they suddenly stopped being stocked. I wonder if that's because it was found that they weren't safe?

It's a Uvex Species. Uvex make all sorts of safety clothing items, but it seems no longer make motorcycle helmets.

Very telling that if you go for >£300 helmets they mostly have the same (efficient) form with a few going for the retro "Barry Sheene" look.

It does look like the open face types are more futuristic, I wonder if that has anything to do with them being popular with the scooterati.

Ruroc have some pretty cool helmets, maybe not the most "futuristic" looking, but they have some cracking graphic options

I picked up an Atlas Mech a couple of week ago in the Black Friday sale, but i like the look of the Berserker too with the goggles

The Biltwell lane splitter is a cheaper option if the Bandit look is your thing. Many different visor and hardware colours
available for sensible money too. I have a matt bronze one with a mirrored visor, it looks great but is definitely a
summer lid, mega airflow through the uncloseable front vents.
