I'm thinking of hiring a car to go down next week (easycar are just round the corner and'll do me one for about £15). So if anyone's wanting a lift out to minimotos, they're welcome.

There are 2 good reasons... you dont get wet, and you can have a few bevvies afterwards and be chauffeured home. I'm not averse to some dropping off & picking up if it makes this moto outing into a goodie.
