Hope all BCF members had a great Christmas.

I posted on here recently if I should do my cbt or das for a 10 mile round commute.

I was doing insurance quotes yesterday on big bikes and found them alot cheaper than a 125cc.
The bikes however were not your typical super sport designs.

Something similar to a Honda xbr500. I dont know many bikes can anyone recommend me any great bikes similar design to the XBR and not like typical supersport design otherwise my insurance rockets sky high.
Anything similar in design that would make a great commuter and still efficient would be appreciated?

Also in terms of doing the DAS course can anyone recommend any riding schools in Birmingham? At the moment I am thinking 1st motorcycle training. Anyone heard of them? They seem to have good reviews.
