I have one of these bike it's only done 2000 miles but can't get it started. It had been sat for a year or so and would fire but not run for more than a few seconds. I changed the fuel cleaned out carb and now it will start on full choke on the first attempt but then just slowly die as if not getting fuel. It used to start when it was running on minimal choke. Any ideas I've had the carb out a few times but can't seem to work out why this is happening. Any ideas guys and girls.

Did it run properly before it went into hibernation?

You just bought it ?

Test for fuel flow from tank, does it slow down and stop after say a minute, assuming the tank is at least half full, or rjust only drip out of the pipe.

Post a picture of the fuel tap please...

""""cleaned out carb """
Did you remove all jets and see through them?
Does it have an inline fuel filter in case some crap comes from the tap or tank?
Also what year is the bike?
