Quick question about Alpinestars

What is their top jacket? From what I read it's the new Stage leather jacket.

from what i gather they make 3-4 jackets none of which is cheap

stage or the venom or summin is the kinda top

they all retail about £320 or summin tho

Yup I know, the thing is I like their new Stage jacket but the price isn't there yet. I plan to get it but I don't think it offers the best protection as most racers use another model.

after ive picked up my bike ill dig out my ride mag i read yesturday had the stage in it

in bike the stage is priced at £279.95

the end of the day alpinestars are good but better jackets are to be had i assume for the price

altho i have a a'stars TLD jacket and an a'stars two piece

go for it, if you have the cash

they dont seem to make 'bad' gear

i had the TLD jacket wearing it all the time since sept 03 still looks pretty new

come off once at 5mph and not a mark

cant be too bad

depends what money your looking at

im not an expert at all, alpinestars is good but if your flush people like crowntree do custom made suits whihc are apparently brilliant

im not really the person to ask, only ever had alpinestars

custom suits... I'm in Dubai ! My friend has a Dainese jacket, It's the same as Max Biaggi's but with different colors but he got it for I think 800$. Now I don't know about you but I think that's too much for a jacket, and the main difference it has over other jackets is the external titanium protection on the shoulders.
