So there are many people still riding thier bikes all through this recent lockdown.
However there are many of us who have not been out and about much recently.

Those of you who haven’t been out much, where are you going to go once you can get out and about on your bike?

Me personally, I’m going to explore my new surroundings as I’ve not long moved house to a new county (Norfolk).
I’ll be spending some time around Hunstanton and Wells-next the-Sea.
No trips planned/booked yet Crying or Very sad

What about you lot?

I want to get back to RAF Bradwell Bay just because I love that run out there and once they build the new power station we'll lose it for good Sad

I also want to get back through Thetford Forest because despite the road being pin straight, I just love the feeling of going through the long stretch of big tall trees Wub

To name just two. But in reality, anywhere would do right now. Well, nearly anywhere - I ain't headin' into London. But very nearly anywhere.

I'm riding to London tomorrow. I plan all my site visits around the weather report, telling people I can only make certain days (whilst checking out the reports).

This would be a brilliant plan if the Met Office didn't change a predicted sunny day to wet and poxy windy 5 minutes before I leave. I swear they just have a quick look out the window and shout at the computer man to make a quick change.

As many different remote locations in Scotland as frequently as possible with a tent, a huge carry-out and a bunch of mates.

That's my nearest coast, so I tend to bimble over for fish and chips at sunny Hunny. I've a friend just outside Boston, so first trip will probably take in an overnighter with much drinking and talking of bollox.

I’d love to do something like that , but there’s a problem for me.
My mates are all pussies who are scared to travel more than 50 miles from thier nice cosy houses.
And they’re all of the ‘10,000cc mega powaar!’ Brigade Mad
And I’m shit at drinking and would end up vomiting over my own bike or in my sleeping bag.
I must admit I do prefer B&B’s when away.

Nowhere really; an errand 3 weeks ago is the only time the bike has moved since November.

I am itching to go away on it, throw camping stuff on and head somewhere - as soon as lockdown lifts and campsites open that's what I'm planning to do. Probably Wales if they'll let me in.

@Pepperami you should go to California if you don’t want to travel far, that’ll get your mates in a stew!

Normandy. I had planned to go last April, still got my route ready. Couple of days riding the RE and over eating good food.

Thumbs Up I'm thinking early or late summer(ish), try to miss the holiday periods. As it's a short hop across and airBnB can be booked quite late though best to firm up dates when we can predict the weather. I'll look for my original route plan but in brief it was only about 7 hours in the saddle on the French side, fairly sedate ride, lot's of photo and food stops.
