All of them
Best thing to do is to get an autotrader or MCN and ring all the companies in the back.
But i would recommend
www.biketeam.co.uk
www.bennetts.co.uk
to start with. ____________________ DNA50 (sorry) ->> TZR125l >> GPZ500S

Aye, gie them all a bell, but I found CIA insurance the best when I was 17 and a half and looking for insurance on an rs125 (although I didnt buy one :lol) Just make up a quote and say you got it from motorcycle direct (also another to try. Google for them and get an online quote) CIA will usually beat most other quotes I found.
Also give bennetts a phone but only do this for comic value. You'll see why....
So, your wee bro coming out with us on ride outs now then? At last, someone I can keep up with!!!! |

Give Virgin Bikes Insurance a go, i'm with them and they gave me a good deal for my Sachs XTC125 (£360 and i'm 17) they beat down all other competition and knocked down the excess to only £50

No chance in hell is he going to get cheap insurance with an RS at 17.
I would say about 1500 at best, 2500 at worst.
Im currently paying £1000 for a 03 DT 125 for TPFT through shakespeare. And im 19!
Seriously, the RS is a mini sports bike, and the insurance price's will show that.
(edit) Im still on provisional also, im assuming he will be aswell.
I can't afford my full test yet, plan on doing it soon as it will atleast half my insurance quote. Price's are still high as im considered a "new" rider, even though i have been riding bikes like the DT since i was about 10.
(edit 2) ...Man, i bumped an OLD thread, sorry folks |

I paid £700 Fully comp on my RS125 (17, on the road and 0 NCB) but that was a deal with the new bike.
There is no such thing as cheap 125 insurance, It's kept artificially high because most of the time (more on Sports 125's) they are ridden by people that only have a CBT, so therefore have to ride a 125, So it's win win. Even having a full licence makes bugger all difference, I've said before but my gf for example, She could insure a 14BHP (or more if derestricted) NSR/RS/CBR125 for £500-800 TPFT or a 60BHP Sports 400 for £100-300 TPFT, Theres just no contest when you have a full licence.
It makes me angry!! ____________________ My bikes are at https://www.bikepics.com/members/dynamight/ |
