Hey, any tips for softening leathers?
ive owned mine for little over a year, and have probably worn then 30-40 times, but they are still quite hard.

HG sell leather conditioner that if used regularly will make then supple again.

I use saddle soap, kindly re-allocated from me ma's shed...... It's a leather food for horsey saddles, you could get some from any equine stockist or me ma's shed if you dare Very Happy it only costs a couple of quid and works a treat!

I use saddle soap. I shine like a shit house door but smell like a knackers yard Very Happy

Actually the best thing to do is wear them. And I mean everywhere. Whatching telly, doing the shopping, shaggin the missus....

Agreed with the rain thing. Get them damp then keep them on until they are dry.

Just wear them everytime you go out on the bike, walk around town or whatever in them. I just waterproofed my jacket using waterproof wax, it's taken time (a couple of days) but now the sticky feeling is going and they are still soft as ever, yet waterproof!

Anything that will nurish the leather, you could polish them but then they would be all shiney. Theres lots of products to treat leather just look in stores.

Thats what i used to do to mine... i used to do a few trackdays and only ever wore my leathers for track days as i had textile stuff i used all yr round....

and i found best thing was to actually roll about on tarmac Laughing Laughing Laughing
