400 for less than ?600

hi, looking for a 400cc bike any reasonable age and state (no rust bucket nc21's or the like) wiling to pay up to 600 quid, looking to do the bike up as g/f uncle ownes a body shop so its all good Very Happy

also would be interested in a 600 cc sports ie cbr or zxr anything up to 700 quid, cheers guys. kieran

I think you'd be pushing it not to get a total minger, But if you are lucky (VERY BLOODY LUCKY!) there are some real bargains around.

you could probely get a road legal running VFR400 NC24 (money bucket) for £600 or a tatty FZR400, CBR400 Aero, GPZ400, Z400.

if you're interested, i've got a gpz400(zx400c2)for sale, just had new fork seals and bushes, new battery, 25000 miles, decent tyres, new front brakes, it's tidy but 18 years old, it's a four cylinder and i'll stick a fresh mot on it, i'm looking for £350-let me know!
