RF is a decent bike..
not a CBR beater, but more comfy.
Consider it a Sports-tourer, with the emphasis on sport and you'll be happier.
I like the look of them, but they aren't to everyones taste.
Engine is usually pretty solid tho.

I have (though in bits) a 95 RF, they are a nice bike, very comfortable with unique styling. Make a great 1st bike and have to say in all honesty I like the RF more than my current GSX-R. ____________________ Suzuki RF 600 - The two wheeled Testarossa (Deceased)

There was one on a big rideout I went on recently.
Even 2 up this thing did 110mph +, it had a micron can, but had been down the road several times..

Poor picture I know, but you get the general idea.
It's obviously not a sports machine, but it does well, his pegs touched down regularly on that ride.
I couldn't keep up on the XJ, but then I am restricted.
