Generally you get Kevlar jeans to have something that looks "normal" off the bike. Those don't so I don't see the point in compromising protection or functionality.
Your questions though
wind protection - no
cold - slightly more than normal jeans due to the extra layer but basically no
rain - no
Wind and rain can be addressed with a cheap old set of Army goretex over trousers. |

Hipster trousers with a hipster price.
Seriously, as WR says, Kevlar jeans are good for looking pretty normal when you get off the bike and still have some protection but they won't compare with proper textiles and leathers for wind, rain and physical protection. ____________________ Triumph Trophy Launch Edition |

Bull-it sp120's are great by the way and not insanely priced like those. I just paid £80 for some with hip/ knee armour and nobody can tell they are bike jeans. |
Hey these look good. how does it work with the leg length though?
I'm a 31" but I buy 32" in normal jeans cos too long is better than too short (half mast). Even so when I sit on a bike with normal jeans they ride up quite a lot still (cold ankles if just nipping to teh shops/local) without full boots on. Does the Bull-it sizing take sitting on a bike into account? ____________________ Now: A100, GT250A, XJ598, FZ750, SL1000
