Shaky mirrors, bike problem or mirror problem?

The mirrors on my 750 are mostly high on LSD above 30mph. Can you ever fix this with new mirrors, or will the bike make any mirror shake till I can see better if I do a shoulder check with my glasses off?

It's not a problem on my 400, the mirrors aren't that good anyway and could use a refresh. The bike does have bar ends. No it's not like a Harley, the bolts don't undo themselves.

It's engine vibration or from the road.

Fitting heavy Bar End Weights can reduce the effect.

Normally OEM sorts that but some folk canny keep their hawns in their pockets and phaph with things.
Rather than improve performance it can be detrimental.
"Ah but I think they look good/cool."

If it's been Blingified by a previous owner then check that the bar end weights are correct.
If so then try to find heavier weights.

(It could also be a bearing in the engine that is facked.
Something like that you would find evidence in the oil filter.)

are they oem mirrors? they tend to be a lot better than aftermarket stuff.

I thought they were oem but looking up bike pics they're chrome and slimmer like my 400 instead of black and thick/big.

I don't think the bike vibrates "excessively". But it is a retro lump not refined machinery. The bar-ends look stock, just boring round black metal.

Those vibration absorbers look pretty neat!
