Ive been looking about for a CBR400, and have just seen someone advertising one, they say that the milage is in KM as all Fireblades are.. is this true? are all cbr400's going to be in KM? Does this mean the Speedo's are also in KMH? If so what does this realy mean? Is there any real problem with having the milage in KM's? Obviously the speedo would be interesting, Cheers...

CBR400's were never officially imported into the UK, So chances are it'll be a Jap import therefore have KMH clocks, So therefore the milage would be in KMH aswell, You can buy convertors which will then report in MPH but you'll have x distance in KMH and z distance in miles, So can confuse things.
You can also buy plastic overlays, But this doesnt adjust the milage.
Good engines, no reason why they wouldnt go past 100,000km's if treated properly. ____________________ My bikes are at https://www.bikepics.com/members/dynamight/ |
