I got a Zxr as my 2nd bike after a Rs125

i love it compaired to the RS125, so much easier to ride, im not 33bhp so there enough power to have fun, bit slack low down but can be expected

they seem pretty reliable to about 30k mile altho mine i belive was ragged poss raced and have a rebore and stuff

people talk about cam chain being dodgy??

generally good bikes

how much you lookin to spend tho? theres two main models older H and newer L?

Thanks Ric,

Yes I'm afraid it's true. BCF members with one or more ZXR4's (the minimum being one) can purchase as many ZXR4's as they like. BCF members that don't currently own one, cannot purchase any. The date of ownership on the V5 must be after and including the 4th of April 2005. All BCF member owned ZXR4's bought after this date will broken for parts and shared amongst current owner/members. This is the law and will be obeyed. Punishment is death. Sorry for the the inconvience this may cause.

Our links between Kawasaki and BCF have informed us of a mandatory renaming af all current ZXR4's. The Kawasaki clitoris 400 because every c*nt has one. We must do our utmost to avoid this. Think of the decals for crying out loud Shocked Thumbs Down

i used to own a zxr400 on a 97 P reg.

In standard form it was nice and did 130mph which felt almost better than sex, however dunno if it was my bike or they all are like that, but whenever i rev it to the redline i could feel vibrations by the foot pegs which i didnt like.

After putting a full scorpion system on and having a dynojet kit and it being properly set up it and run o a dyno it sounded even more ace and could do 138-140mph with me on my own.
& it did 137mph with my mate on the back on the track! Shocked

Hmmm I'm not really sure. I like yours quite alot. Black ones are surley the best as are all black bikes..... Red's nice tho. Confused I'm not over keen on the blue. Question

I think I might get mine resprayed black, Just plain black with Mirrored decals, Frame and wheels. Confused But then all my anodised purple would need to be silver. Rolling Eyes
