So I've just moved but my shed door isn't big enough to get the bike through.

Can't seem to get anyone to give me a quote to get a new 4ft door fitted, everyone seems too busy.

If I keep it in my conservatory will that cause issues with house insurance?

Ta.

Unlikely.

But the devil is in detail. If they've not asked a clear fair and not misleading question in respect of vehicles being stored internally, then they cannot say that you should have told them, so there's no go for a non disclosure argument. If they've not placed specific conditions or exclusions on the policy then they have no obvious grounds to repudiate a loss.

Unlikely, but you'd need to consider the actual documents.

Take the tank off and keep it somewhere else. As far as house insurance goes, if something happens and your insurance finds out you've been keeping a massive container of petrol in it, it's not going to work out in your favour. I don't see an issue as far as your bike insurance though - it's just as secure (or more) than keeping it in a garage.

My insurance says I keep it at private property.

Do your insurance documents say you keep it in a shed?
