To say im relieved is an understatement, when I did my Mod1 nerves got the better of me the first time, but passed my Mod2 this morning first go, zero minors, over the moon

hopefully ill be fine going straight to this bike, im nearly 40 and dont have a need for speed, i just like the ride in the fresh air being on a bike

yea i like the old looking stuff, i also need a fairly upright relaxed riding position as i have lower back problems, ive no interest in sports bikes at all

I sat on a friends R1 and i was very bunched up, i wouldnt have been able to ride it longer than 5 mins without being crippled, horrible position for me, also tried the wifes street triple and thats too bunched up for me aswell

I learned on an ER6N iirc and I managed ok on that but not the position id want to be in with my own bike

Picked up the bike Saturday morning, I love it

I was worried with it having more power than what I had learned on that I might struggle at first, it was fine, no jerky throttle all very smooth, I can tell the power is there for once I get some more miles under my belt but for now I am getting used to the bike and getting some experience, being on a bike for me has always been just enjoying the ride, the fresh air, im in no rush to get anywhere and ive no interest in riding fast

Already removed the tank stickers, changed the indicators to LED ones, and put black intake covers on to match the rest of the bike, new black tank badges going on soon

Looks ace that does. Get it sprayed with ACF50 if you're going to use it through the winter as there's lots of gubbins exposed to the elements.

yea I did it on the 125 last winter, and the wife did her Street Triple, smokes a lot afterwards lol, but does seem to work very well
