How long?

Has anyone low sided a bike and had it bounce, only destroying the fairing, bending one wheel and bending the cans?

I did and I sent it to the workshop to be fixed. I've had a few mods made, but I'm still waiting on bits to be made and the bike to be finished and I came off it exactly one year ago.

Has anyone else paid over £2000 to wait this long? Sad

I threw my mates daytona t595 down the right side and i damaged.....

head fairing

side fairing

tail piece

right clip in

right mirror

bent the forks

and some how the left switch gear

In total i think i paid about 600quid for parts and got a mate to fix it and the bike was back on the road within 2 months.

You definitely been ripped off mate

You could have easily fixed that yourself in no time for far less. Ebay for the parts and then just put them on. They are all simple things to fix.

What are they doing that takes so long, making you a full size sculpture of your bike from cheese?

I'd have been kicking up a fuss long before now, a year really is taking the piss for anything. If you paid by credit card then you should be chasing them up to get your money back, although it might be too long ago to do that now.

So which bunch of jokers is responsible for charging £2k and taking over a year to do the work, surely you only pay when the work is complete anyway?

Let me guess, its sitting at the side of their workshop waiting for parts to come into stock?

It is waiting for some parts, but they have only been on order for 2 weeks.

The longer it goes on, the more I change!

Oh deary, I think you know that you've waited too long already (by about 10 1/2 months)

Pal lowsided an R6 into a high kerb, he had to get the forks straightened and the frame jigged. That only took him 4 months to sort himself!

D'oh!

Mines overall wasn't too bad!

However, all the bits have now arrived, so as long as the brakes can be sorted (very weak) and the alarm fixed, then the bits added, I should be riding again. I imagine this will take another three weeks, at least, by this guys standards!

Oh well. He has the bike and my money. Not fir! Sad
