Don't confuse SVA and MoT regs they are not connected. I once had to SVA a Chinese Dax replica (JingCheng) it looked fine apart from a radius offence on the edge of the front mudguard.. but then the guy asked about the mirrors and were the CE approved. I hadn't fitted them cos I thought not needed for MoT so meh..
Anyways I offered to bring them in to show them but no. I had to come back with them fitted onto the bike.. which also meant borrowing a van for a second time and another 60 mile round trip.. ____________________ Now: A100, GT250A, XJ598, FZ750

It would be totally illegal to purchase a q-plate frame with a V5 that pre-dates the MSVA rules (and as such, has no record of what modifications were done to it), stamp the VIN number onto your frame then destroy the original frame. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |
