Where to sell a partial-restored classic?

Hi all,

Does anyone know where is best to sell a partially-restored/rebuilt classic bike? Trying to help my mother find a buyer.
I also dont know what it could be worth but Im thinking a couple of grand at least.

The bike is some sort of Triumph Bonneville from the '60s to the best of my knowledge.
Originally bought in bits from a garage find my father restored it up to the condition seen in the photos below, using a mix of restored and new parts.
Last work I remember my father did to it before he passed was to fix the engine seizing, turned out to be the piston ring clearances were wrong which he fixed and I remember seeing it run.
There is quite a few spare parts not pictured and Id have to visit and do an inventory on it all as half the garage is bloody bike parts

As its single carb it probably aint a Bonnie, Might be a T110 or TR6 or possibly a Thunderbird if its a 650, is it a 650?
Its unit construction so that makes it 1960's
My 59 Thunderbird was pre unit and had magneto ignition.

Nice to have some decent photos At least a couple of bags of anyone's money just from what's shown but definitely make up a list of what you have. The work looks good and if you have almost a complete bike you might get twice as much.

Unit construction, single-carb twin. Maybe a TR6?

Thats a 350/500 and given that the drilling for the distributer is machined but blanked off with the cap just behind the cylinder barrel, I would say it is a 1964/1965 model ( early ones had a dizzy / later ones points and the boss for the dizzy was not machined).

The gearbox casing on the 350/500 is rounded on the 650/750 its more oval .

Engine codes could be 3TA T21 T90 would be 350. 5TA T100 would be 500 there will be letters after T100 S, R , T A etc giving the model.


Great bikes, smaller physically than the 650's I had 2 back ( ahem) when I was a younger man.

I would agree - get all the parts together and put it in an auction- Carol Nash show/ and auction at the classic bike show in Feb?
