Videos of mass-looting incidents as San Fran now more dangerous than 98% of US cities. The effects of Proposition 47, which reclassified certain theft and drug possession offenses from felonies to misdemeanors seems to be going very well, if you're a felon that is. More recently, groups of thieves are targeting high-end retailers in coordinated mass looting incidents.

I'd have installed secure kiosk windows into my retail stores if I were going to keep a business open in such conditions. (Though out of principle I'd relocate and skip all taxes and rents considering the contract of a safe business envioroment was breached) Employees can staff bullet-proof windows and fetch what people want like a 24/7 service garage. Set up a turret in the store just in case of a siege.

Shouldn't be difficult to figure this out. Almost like somebody wants this to happen in order to create social tensions.

However, this is what comes of a low trust society. Somehow the majority have to pay because leftist do-gooders release a minority of uncivilised unproductive criminals onto the streets who seem to think that the productive members of society owe them something.

I'd use this opportunity to find out who those parasites are - bring them out of their holes - and deport the problem back to where they'll feel more at home.
