If you want to address that, you'll have to do it at an international level. Refusing vaccine at your local hospital is just going to lead to wasted vaccine which, IMO is worse.

Oh and define 'low to zero risk'. How do you tell when the virus affects the most unlikely people badly? Would you like to make that decision?

No, that decision should be down to the individual, with no coercion from ANYONE.
Tell you what; I'll give you that there will never be zero risk, vaccinated or not. But if I think I'm at risk, I'll make the decision for me. We all have to do this. You cannot force vaccines on people, nor is there any moral ground, not to mention right, to take away their liberty if they refuse it. If people refuse it, you'll just have to find another way to control the uncontrollable.

If you give governments the sweeping responsibility of your personal health and safety, there is no end to what measures they will take, because they are scared of that responsibility, and rightly so. They should not have it. They have done their bit by making the vaccine available to everyone.

There's a strong possibility of a universal coronavirus vaccine in the future. That's one vaccine for all coronavirus types and their variants. It'll be interesting to see whether that pans out as a once (or twice) for life.

In the meantime the boosters aren't onerous. I had mine last week. I was in and out of the hospital in 25 minutes 15 of which were the usual wait after the vaccine.

That smacks of someone seeking to prove a theory with selective data. They took Wikipedia data and then looked for additional cases to top up just 2021. Also the younger players won’t have had the jab, and the average age goes up through the years too.
