Hi, don't know if anyone remembers me, it's been over 6 years I reckon! I lost my SV650S in my divorce and haven't ridden since but now my daughter is grown up and I can start having fun for myself again I'm excited about getting back onto 2 wheels...

Don't suppose anyone knows anyone selling an SV650? Preferably naked and up to £1000ish. Condition not too important as long as it runs, would also consider other 600s...

Look forward to catching up with people again Smile

Welcome back. You're probably looking at ~£1200-£1500 for an early "round shape" SV in decent condition, and ~£1500-£2000 for a later "sharp frame" version. I only know because my missus is going to be selling hers so I've been looking at prices (but it's the non-naked SV650S so probably not suitable). You might be able to pick up a tatty one for a grand if you know what you're looking at.

Thanks! Luckily my fella is a motorcycle mechanic so he'll be able to help me fix anything that needs fixing...

I've never been paid 1000 quid for nakedness.... best I've ever got was a free can of beer.

Hence why you're on here I guess? Laughing

I don't remember you, so I checked - your previous last post was 12 and 1/2 years ago!

I remember you. Was it you who used to own a TZR250? If so, I was one of the subsequent owners, and now Katy owns it.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

BCF is a shadow of its former self. I don't think there has been a proper meet up for 4 years.

Well at least we can discount two of those years as not being any fault of our own. Laughing
