O.k just a question, you see a bike that you just have to have. how do you pay for it?
beg, steal or borrow? or are luckily enough to have a few grand lying about?

Credit card, and get useful extra insurance, then pay it off with the money in the bank.

A combination of parents, work and not spending any money on anything else.

I really could so with some new clothes. This saving lark is making me look decripid. Sad

Hi

Depends. If it is a cheapy (like the bike I have just got on Ebay for Spares / Repair) then just raid my bank account.

Otherwise a loan.

Credit cards are an expensive way to borrow money unless you go round moving cards every few months. But that is quite easy given how much time card companies spend trying to get you to take their money. It would be rather easy to get a few cards together and put yourself tens of thousands of pounds in debt (and I suspect there are quite a few people on here who have well over £20k of available credit on cards).

All the best

Keith

I've got 15k available on one alone, then another two with about 8k and 6k. And still I get pestered by others to sign up for more. It's fucking stupid, really; not everyone can resist the temptation to use it.
