Mine have been fine for a few years. I'd reserve judgement until the warranty claim is answered.
They do reckon that the elements are guaranteed for life. ____________________ Suzuki Bandit 1250

Not had those particular Gerbings, have XR12s. The first few iterations had some failures on the electrical side, but Gerbings always swapped them promptly, no hassle about 3 or 4 times. My current pair were a latter update and have been fine for the last 5-6 years though, figured they must have nailed the design. They quote a lifetime guarantee on the electrical side and after using that warranty several times, certainly makes me want to stick to the brand when my current pair finally wear out. Though granted, there is a lot more choice on the market these days and some very competitive prices.
So, I'd just persist with the Gerbings warranty, they were always great for me. Though I totally understand it's a right pain in the ass waiting a couple of days for replacement gloves in the middle of winter. ____________________ Beginner Biker Adventures Blog

There's only one sort of glove that would have kept your hands dry at this years Dragon.

Even if the gloves themselves didn't leak, the rain would have found its way in.
I kept my hands dry with a combo of Klim gloves and Tucano urbano muffs.
I did see one guy with amazon prime jiffy bags cable tied to his handlebars as bar muffs.
I have concluded after this year that gore-tex is a lie and is not actually waterproof in UK conditions. It'll be heavy duty PCV waterproofs all the way next year. My big trawlermans jacket was a lifesaver this year. Also wearing woolen clothing that stays warm even when it's wet. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. The issue was just as much that after being bone dry they were SATURATED within minutes.
I did a training weekend around 18 months ago in the same conditions (CONSTANT heavy rain) with my £50 Racers are my hands were bone dry. ____________________ Suzuki V Strom 1050XT, Honda CBF500 ABS, |
