In you’re biking career?

So far I’ve had a front tyre go on the old NSR and I’ve had 7 rears with the cat. Most recent being last week on a 1 month old tyre.

Starting to get really pissed off with them now.

How about you?

Hi

Lost count.

Ones I can think of about 10. Mind you, had 2 in the last rear tyre on the FZR, about 2" apart.

All the best

Keith

I've had none. My dad has had a fair few on his current bike.

I remember when he picked up his ZZR. Brand spanking new and we were going up to my grandma's to visit. Me my mum and sister were in the car and he was riding his bike up there to help with the break in period. He had only done about 50 miles on the bike (from new) and he got a puncture on the journey up.

Luckly there was a Kawasaki garage near my grandma's so it was sorted. He gets them quite frequently commuting to London. Dirty road when filtering.

A fair few Confused about 5 that i can recall in the bike (one being 700 odd miles south of calais whilst doing 80mph where no one spoke english)... and SIX *THIS YEAR* in my cars.

3 nails, one huge chunk of glass... one valve failure and the rest just went down for unknown reasons (probably the neighbours cat sharpening his nails on my car tyres or something).

I won't bother touching wood since it cant get much worse...

One. A week ago. Got new tires. Better for it as the new rubber's thrice as good as the old was.

Had another in same shagged out BT010, unrepairable (shard of metal)

Total pain in arse.

Only ever had three punctures (all rear), two of which I had on the NSR with new tyres - got them plugged for £20 (ride-in-ride-out). One puncture was on the ZXR but it was a very old tyre anyway so I replaced it.

10 punctures Zak?? Wtf? Do you live opposite a glazers or something? Thinking

I've only had one and that was on my Thundercat. I got it plugged, but after a while the top part of the plug came out and as a result I (eventually) changed the tyres.

I didn't have a single one up until my last rear tyre when I got three in the same one which is when it was replaced, so far I've had none in the new tyre and 2000 miles travelled.
