rs or rgv 250.... or a proper bike????

considering im 17, 0 no claims, im going to do my theory in a few weeks and im REALLY stuck, i know if i get a proper bike ill get raped with insurance, if i get the rs or rgv or a 400 i wont restrict it i know alot of you have been in my position so wot did you do. cheers

Anyway mate, I've got an RS 125 (which I assume you refer to when you say RS Thinking

) and for a first bike its not bad for speed and acceleration. Even with it restricted at the moment and the powervalve not f*cking working right, the acceleration is still ok for someone new to bikes and its good for 70 mph. Also Honda NSR's are similar. Could also consider a 250 two stroke like the Aprilia 250 cc or I think Honda also do one.

RGV's are great bikes which cost sod all to insure, but a fortune to run.
Mine was king of the back lanes whilst i had it. But honestly, running the thing just got too much for me!
